We normally would not attempt repairs on one of these, but it's a huge potential client, so we need to fix it at all costs.

I have the service manual for the Xerox Phaser 6180MFP that works for this dell. It has excellent troubleshooting procedures for the error message on the printer.

My problem is the instructions for entering the service menu to do diagnostics does not work on the dell 3115cn. When you hold the up and down arrows at startup, it takes you to "Customer Mode" and does not have the required diagnostic tests I need to run.

Does anyone know how to access the service menu on the Dell 3115cn? Anybody have the service manual specific to it?
