epson 8500 that prints the test page normally and can also take in some data from the computer and prints for some minutes. however after a while it flashes error 4 then shuts down. i have tried blowing the dust out but it doesnt help.what could be the problem?ow can i repair it?

 Cardkosy this error indicates 2 possible problems. Either the carriage is binding, or more likely, the encoder sensor is dirty or failing. Hope this helps.
