The automatic document feeder for scans and faxes is no longer working. It looks like everything is still spinning but it will not take the paper from the tray and feed it into the scanning bed. If I open it up, hold the switch (that the paper sits on) down and feed it directly into where it goes down into the scanning bed, it will work. It seems to be where the paper has its first point of contact with the rollers that the problem occurs. I see rub marks on the pad from the rollers and can see them spinning so I am not sure what the problem is.

I have taken everything that I possibly can apart. It is all clean and there is no paper stuck anywhere.

Any help would be appreciated.

 a warning message on mine says, "You need to replace the following ink cartridges" and it is the yellow cartridge. I have tried printing documents in black and white, but that warning message appears each time and nothing prints.
