I have recently discovered that when my OKI C5250 stops working with the message: 'Replace xxxxx Image Drum", the drum can be rerset by replacing (or installing) a micro-fuse in the drum assembly. This works perfectly, but I would like to understand why it works. Does anyone know and can explain it to me? Thank you. -Bob

The way the reset fuses normally work is that they blow when the unit is put into the printer the first time and this action causes the reset. Can you tell me what the fuse specification is?
